LENNOXVILLE, Que. – The Gaiters fell 37-12 to the Montreal Carabins to close out the Friday night homecoming triple header on Coulter Field.
Montreal jumped out to a 17-0 lead before
Katie Quinn (Rigaud, Que./John Abbott College) scored for Bishop's. The Carabins tacked on another two tries before half for a 27-7 advantage.
The second half was all Carabins except for the final minutes as Katie Shea found the end zone for the Gaiters.
Leroux was named Gaiters MVP. Ophelia Poisson- Vecchio earned the MVP for the Carabins.
Montreal's Jasmine Baxter led all scorers with 13 points from a try and four conversions.
Prior to the game the Gaiters honoured their graduating seniors.
Next up Bishop's will face Montreal on Oct. 5
