LENNOXVILLE, Que. – A week after narrowly losing their opening match of the 2019 RSEQ University season, the Bishop's Gaiters (0-1) are back on the pitch on Sunday afternoon.  They kick off with the Concordia Stingers (1-0) at 1 p.m. in Montreal.
 
Last time out
The Gaiters opened the season with a 25-22 loss to the McGill Martlets on Coulter Field.  The game featured seven lead changes and ended with McGill scoring in the 73^rd minute to go ahead for good. Taylor Merrithew (Kingston, Ont./Bishop's College School) led the way for Bishop's. She scored two tries and was credited with a third when the Gaiters' were awarded a penalty try.

Concordia started their year on a positive note.  They beat Montreal 43-12 at home.  Olyvia Falille scored four tries for the Stingers while Shawna Brayton added another and booted through four conversions in the win.

Bishop's is 0-6 against the Stingers since 2013.  That includes a 50-25 loss last season in the team's only meeting. It was in Lennoxville.
