MONTREAL – The Bishop's Gaiters men's basketball team was unable to keep up with the Concordia Stingers offence as they drop the contest by a final score of 91-74.
How it Happened
Bishop's got off to a slow start and dug themselves a hole early trailing Concordia 29-16 after the first quarter. They responded with a great second quarter outscoring the Stingers 18-12 to cut the lead down to 41-34 at the half. Concordia would take over in the second half however, starting in the third quarter as they pushed the lead out to 69-55 after 30 minutes. The Gaiters would continue to fight in the fourth cutting the lead down to seven on multiple occasions but that would be as close as they would get as Concordia would pull away late handing the Gaiters a 91-74 loss.
The loss drops the Gaiters to 4-6 on the season keeping them in fourth place in the RSEQ.
