LENNOXVILLE, Que. - After four weeks of CUFLA action, the Bishop's Gaiters have shown that they are a title contender in the CUFLA East conference, winning each of their four games thus far. This weekend's contest against the Ottawa Gee-Gees has a major impact on the playoff picture so the Gaiters are looking to keep up their winning ways.  

The Gaiters sit alone at the top of the CUFLA East standings after four weeks of competition with a total of eight points and a 4-0 record. With only two games remaining in the regular season, both of which will be played on Coulter Field, Bishop's will need to finish the season strong. Defensively, the Gaiters will look to minimize their goals against while continuing to find the back of the opposition's net on the offense. Last week, the Gaiters played their first game at home in two years and defeated the visiting Carleton Ravens by a score of 19-12.

When the Gee-Gees and Gaiters met earlier this season in the nation's capital, Bishop's collected the 2-points, defeating the Gee-Gees by a score of 21-6. The Gaiters are coming off of four straight wins against CUFLA East competitors while the Gee-Gees (1-4) lost last week's game to the Queen's Gaels. Game time is set for 8PM on Saturday October 16th at Coulter Field in Lennoxville.
