LENNOXVILLE, Que. - The Bishop's Gaiters dropped their final contest of the RSEQ University regular season on Saturday in Lennoxville. The Carleton Ravens spoiled the celebrations by a final of 28-0.
The game was in the balance until the final 20 minutes as the Ravens led 14-0. A pair of late tries put the game out of reach.
The loss drops Bishop's to 2-4 while Carleton improves to 5-1. The Gaiters will finish in third place in the RSEQ 'B' Division and thus will travel for a consolation semifinal on the weekend of Oct. 30.
Carleton finishes in second in the division and will crossover to play either Concordia or Ottawa in the championship quarterfinals next weekend.
