LENNOXVILLE, Que. - With only one game remaining in the 2021 CUFLA regular season, the Gaiters have locked in one of the top two spots in the CUFLA East conference and secured a home playoff game next weekend. The only thing left to be determined is whether the Gaiters can finish out the regular season with a 6-0 record and finish atop the conference standings.  
The purple and white are coming off of a big 19-5 win over the Ottawa Gee-Gees last Saturday in the rain in Lennoxville to extend their season record to 5-0. Bishop's will play their final regular season game on Coulter Field against the same team the purple and white opened their 2021 campaign against - the Queen's Gaels. The Gaiters and Gaels sit in first and second respectively in the conference and have both locked in their spot in the post-season.

When Queen's and Bishop's met earlier this season in Kingston, Ont., Bishop's came away with the win, defeating the Gaels by a score of 16-7. The Queen's Gaels (4-1) squeaked past the Carleton Ravens by a score of 9-7 last weekend. Game time is set for 12PM on Sunday October 24th at Coulter Field in Lennoxville. Prior to the game, Bishop's will honour its graduating seniors.

Players to Watch:
Fifth-year senior, Sam Firth (Ottawa, ON/Nepean H.S.), is the league leader with 38 points and 24 goals in five games and sits third in the league in assists (14). Jacob Gasperetti (Ottawa, ON/Notre Dame H.S.) sits fifth on the assists leader board.
