OTTAWA, Ont. - The Bishop's Gaiters women's rugby team fell to the Carleton Ravens to close out the road portion of the 2021 season on Sunday. Carleton jumped in front and never looked back, keeping the Gaiters off of the scoresheet, to secure a 48-0 victory. Despite not being able to break through the Ravens defense, inside back, Melody Leggett (Gatineau, QC/Heritage College), a second-year elementary education student from Gatineau, had a great performance and was named the game MVP for the Gaiters.

The loss drops Bishop's to 1-3 on the year while Carleton improves to 3-1 in the RSEQ University B Section.

The Gaiters return to Coulter Field on Saturday October 9th to mtch-up with the McGill Martlets for the second time this season. The game is set for 1PM.
