LENNOXVILLE, Que. - The Bishop's Gaiters (3-3) will travel to Montreal for a 12PM match-up with the McGill Redbirds (5-1) in an RSEQ men's rugby semi-final. The winner of Sunday's match-up will book their place in the RSEQ championship game. McGill will look to return to the conference title game for the second straight season while Bishop's will look to repeat their 2018 semi-final upset victory over McGill to get to the RSEQ final.

RSEQ Semi-Final
Molson Percival Stadium
Sunday October 31st @ 12PM
The Gaiters won their last outing over the ETS Piranhas by a 20-7 score to book their spot in the post-season while the Redbirds closed out their regular season with a 36-3 victory at Sherbrooke.
This weekend's game will be the second contest this season between the two teams. McGill got the win in Lennoxville on Seniors' Night, defeating the home team 24-5.
Quinn Hayhurst (Victoria, BC/Shawnigan Lake School) scored the lone try for the Gaiters. Despite the outcome, there were some bright spots that the Gaiters will be looking to expand on this weekend. First, the Gaiters held the Redbirds to just 24 points, the second lowest scored by McGill in a single game this season. Second, the Gaiters managed to stay in the game despite being assessed four yellows throughout the 80 minute contest. Finally, the purple and white dressed a depleted roster with eight regular players sidelined with injuries and still managed to stay in the game. This weekend, several of those players will return to the pitch and look to get the win and a berth in the championship game, set for next weekend.
