HALIFAX – The Bishop's Gaiters football team learned what the Fall 2021 season will look like when the Atlantic University Sport conference released their 2021 schedules on Wednesday.  The Gaiters open the revised six-game campaign on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. EDT when they host the Mount Allison Mounties. 
 

 
The rest of the AUS conference will kick off a week earlier, however Bishop's will have the bye on Sept. 18.

The Gaiters will alternate home and away games throughout the year. They finish the regular season on Nov. 6 at Mt.A. The top four teams will qualify for the post-season resulting in two semifinals.  The Loney Bowl is set for Nov. 20 at the highest remaining seed.  The AUS champion will then travel to Ontario to face the OUA champ in the Mitchell Bowl.  Finally, the 2021 Vanier Cup is on Dec. 4.

Bishop's enters the 2021 campaign with high hopes after their Loney Bowl appearance in 2019, the last time there was AUS competition.
