LENNOXVILLE, Que. - The Bishop's Gaiters women's soccer team is back in action this week on Friday and Sunday for the second two-game weekend of the young RSEQ season. On Friday, the Gaiters travel to Quebec City to meet the nationally-ranked #8 Laval Rouge et Or at 6PM. On Sunday, the Gaiters will return home to Coulter Field to match-up with the McGill Martlets at 3PM to close out a busy weekend in Lennoxville.
Bishop's sits at 1-2-0 in the standings.
FRIDAY at LAVAL
The Gaiters are coming off of two tough losses and look to get their first win on the road. Laval, a national top-ten opponent, sits atop the standings and is coming off of a strong 3-0 showing against Sherbrooke.
SUNDAY vs McGILL
McGill is in town on Sunday afternoon for the first match-up between the Gaiters and the Martlets. McGill has collected four points from their opening three games but the Gaiters will look to shut down the Martlets and add to their point total at home.

ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT
This past week, centreback
Kayla Kyle (Montreal, QC/John Abbott College), was named the Provigo, Robert Lafond Athlete of the Week!
Kyle, a fourth-year Sociology student, anchored the defensive line for the Gaiters in Friday's heartbreaking loss to the UQTR Patriotes. In Sunday's first road game of the season, Kyle scored the loan goal for the Gaiters in a 3-1 loss to the Montreal Carabins and was named the game MVP for her efforts.
