LENNOXVILLE, Que. - The Bishop's Gaiters women's rugby team lost 38-17 to the Montreal Carabins on Friday evening. The Gaiters kept it close through 60 minutes but the Carabins finished the game strong.

Katie Locke (Tiny, ON/Dr. G.W. Williams S.S.), Melody Leggett (Gatineau, QC/Heritage College) and Erika Scott (Dewittville, QC/John Abbott College) scored tries for the purple and white and Kaitie Shea (Saint John, NB/Saint John H.S.) added a convert to the Gaiters final score. Scott was named the MVP for her impact on the game.
 
Next Up
Bishop's is back on the road next week as they head to Ontario for a match-up with the Carleton Ravens next Sunday afternoon. Game time is set for 1:30PM.
