LENNOXVILLE, Que. – In front of a capacity crowd,
Gabriel Royer (Lawrenceville, QC/Cégep de Sherbrooke) picked off Mounties back-up quarterback Alex Cassidy and returned it 40 yards to all but seal a victory for the Bishop's Gaiters on homecoming Saturday in Lennoxville.

Two plays later quarterback
Mason McGriskin (North Bay, ON/West Ferris S.S.) found pay dirt for the game's lone major to put a stamp on what was a spectacular day for the Gaiters. They went onto a 19-6 win and improve to 2-2 on the year.

Earlier in the day the 1988, 1990 and 1994 OQIFC Champion teams were inducted into the Bishop's University Wall of Distinction.

Graeme Mather kicked through a 24-yard field goal at the midway point of the fourth quarter for Mt.A to set-up the frantic finish. With 2:33 left, Mt.A took possession and on the second play of the drive, Royer made the leaping pick and ran it back to the 5-yard line.
