The Gaiters women's soccer team went to Saputo Stadium on Friday night to square off with the UQAM Citadins. The previous matchup between the two teams, at Coulter Field, was filled with late-game drama and controversy that ultimately left both teams unsatisfied with a 1-1 draw. That game set the tone for Friday's tilt in Montreal as both teams played tough to a 0-0 first half. Both teams battled and both keepers were equally up to the task. A second half goal for UQAM was the decider despite an aggressive attack from the Gaiters. Isidora Pekez was named the game MVP on Bishop's side.

Next Up
The Gaiters will close out the regular season at home on Sunday, Oct. 23rd. The game will kick off at 4pm.
