MONTREAL – The Bishop's Gaiters men's rugby team lost 36-3 to the McGill Redbirds on Sunday afternoon in Montreal.
 
The result means Bishop's will finish fourth in the conference at 4-3 (23 points) and return to McGill (6-1, 30 points) next weekend for an RSEQ semifinal.

…McGill jumped out to an early lead and never looked back
…the hosts led 10-3 at the half before pouring it on after the break

…Axel Montgomery (Toronto, ON/Shawnigan Lake School) booted through their only points off a penalty towards the end of the first half
 
Next Up…
…it will be dejavu as these two teams will meet in Montreal again next week in an RSEQ semifinal. Ottawa will host ETS in the other match-up.
