The women's basketball team was on the road for their final game before the holdiays. They played a hungry McGill team who they beat at home previously this season. The first matchup was long forgotten for McGill, as they came out with solutions to all of the problems that the Gaiters tried to cause. McGill took a narrow 4-point lead into the half, 31-27. The Gaiters had more trouble in the 3rd quarter, as McGill caused headaches for the Gaiters on both ends. Another deficit going into the fourth quarter was ahead for Bishop's. The Gaiters came out and stuck to their plan, and finally found their way to a lead just over halfway through the final quarter. Some clutch, made free throws finished the Martlets off for Bishop's as they escaped with a 72-65 victory. 

For Bishop's... 
… Amaiquen Siciliano (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Velez Sarsfield) finished with a game-high 23 points 
… The team's depth once again played a factor, as 4 Gaiters finished with at least 10 points 
… The Gaiters had 9 team steals 

Next Up 
The Gaiters will be on the road following the holidays and heading to Laval on Friday, Jan. 6th. Tip-off is set for 6pm.
