LENNOXVILLE, Que. – The Gaiters women's hockey team has impressed in their U SPORTS debut and, after a long season, will face the Montréal Carabins in the final RSEQ series of the year.
 
This Thursday marks the start of the bronze medal series as the Bishop's Gaiters will travel to Montreal to face-off with the Carabins at 7PM in Game #1. The Gaiters will return to Jane & Eric Molson Arena for Game #2 on Saturday March 26th at 7PM and will hit the road for Game #3 on Sunday at 2:30PM, if necessary.
   
Bishop's (3-12-0-0 in regular season, 4-1 in post-season)
The Gaiters swept the Carleton Ravens in Round 1 before taking a 2-1 series win against Ottawa in the second round to secure their spot in the bronze medal series. Since the start of the post-season, Bishop's has brought home the win from every road trip of the playoffs. Neleh Vigneau Sargeant leads the Gaiters with six points in the post-season, scoring four goals in the process. 
 
Montréal (8-5-0-2 in regular season, 2-2 in post-season)
Montréal got swept in its opening series with the #1 Concordia Stingers before sweeping Carleton in Round 2. Montréal's leading goal scorer, Joannie Garand, led the Carabins during the regular season with six goals.

Season Series
Bishop's and Montréal met three times this season with the Gaiters going 2-1 in those games, including a victory in the home opener. In those matchups, the Gaiters were 1-0 on the road and 1-1 at the Jane & Eric Molson Arena.
