Quebec City - Amaiquen Siciliano (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Velez Sarsfield) scored 23 points and Katerina Stoupas (Montreal, Que./Dawson College) recorded her second consecutive double-double as the Bishop's Gaiters beat the Laval Rouge et Or 83-66 on Thursday Night in Quebec City in RSEQ University women's basketball. 

The win leaves Bishop's with the top winning percentage in conference at 5-2.  Laval falls to 5-4. Concordia currently sits atop the standings at 6-3. 

Jennifer Louis (Montreal, Que./Cegep Edouard-Montpetit) chipped in with 19 points and Joel Kabunda scored 13 to round out Gaiters in double figures.  

Lea Dominque scored 21 and Kim Letang 13 for Laval in the loss. 

Siciliano's 23 paced the Gaiters thanks to a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line. She also added seven assists, four rebounds and a block. 

Stoupas' 12 points and 11 rebounds came on the heels of her career night on Saturday in a win over the Stingers for her second straight double-double.

For Louis, it was a season-high 19 points thanks to connecting on 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. 

Bishop's trailed 34-33 at halftime then controlled the third stanza by out-scoring the hosts 28-17 before eventually pulling away in the fourth quarter for the 17 point victory. 

The Gaiters and Rouge et Or will play the back end of a home-and-home on Saturday in Lennoxville at 6 p.m.
