MONTREAL – The Bishop's Gaiters women's hockey team was back on the ice for the first time in 2023 in Montreal on Sunday. They fell 6-2 to the Montreal Carabins.
For Bishop's the line of
Justine Turcotte (/John Abbott College),
Neleh Vigneau Sargeant (Dartmouth, N.S./Lockview H.S.) and
Maude Pépin (Pont-Rouge, Que., Cegep Limoilou, ) recorded all the scoring. Turcotte and Vigneau-Sargeant each had a goal and an assist while Pepin had two helpers.
Audrey-Anne Veillette scored four goals for the hosts.
Next up the Gaiters travel to the Nation's capital to face the Ottawa Gee-Gees on Friday. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.
