LENNOXVILLE, Que. – The UQAM Citadins used 52 second half points to spoil seniors' night in Lennoxville as they went onto beat the Bishop's Gaiters 95-74.
The Gaiters were led by Rookie of the Year Candidate
Etienne Gagnon (/Cegep de Sherbrooke) who scored 13 points and grabbed 17 rebounds in the loss.
Zachary John (Scarborough/) and
Charles Robert (Vaudreuil, Que./Suffield Academy) also scored 13, while
Obinna Dike-Nwagbara (Montreal, QC, Champlain College Saint-Lambert) netted 10.
Dani Longarela (Madrid, Spain/Eckerd College) scored 10 and grabbed 17 boards in his senior night. He is the lone graduating Gaiter.
Elie Karojo scored a game-high 29 points for UQAM.
With the win, UQAM improves to 10-5 and clinches first place in the RSEQ, while Bishop's drops to 8-8 and finishes third in the conference.
