The Gaiters came out slow on Saturday night, facing the team they beat on the road by 22 on Thursday night. McGill came out of the gates shooting the ball, and doing it well. The Gaiters faced a 22-14 deficit heading into the second quarter with some work to do. Bishop's hunkered down on defense in the second and took a 36-35 lead into the break. Good play on both ends of the floor for the Gaiters in the third quarter opened the game up, where they were able to take a 55-43 lead into the last frame. The home team coasted to a 76-63 victory, getting their 10th win of the season.

… Amaiquen Siciliano (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Velez Sarsfield) finished the game with 26 points and 4 rebounds 
… Jael Kabunda (Montreal, Que./College Montmorency) had another strong game, finishing with 10 points and 7 rebounds 
… Victoria Gauna (Mendoza, Argentina) got her groove back, chipping in with 11 points and 9 rebounds 
… Bishop's out-rebounded McGill 43-35, outscoring them in the paint 30-14

The Gaiters have another home-and-home next weekend, starting on Thursday, Feb. 9th at UQAM in Montreal. Tip-off for that one is set for 6pm.
