LENNOXVILLE, Que. – Tiernan McDougall (Vancouver, BC/Champlain-Lennoxville) made five three pointers and scored 21 points as the Bishop's Gaiters topped the Laval Rouge et Or 80-72 on Saturday night in Lennoxville.
 
McDougall opened the game with a bang, hitting back-to-back triples before Laval got on the board. He'd add two more before the first quarter came to a close.  That paced Bishop's to a 30-23 lead through 10 minutes. They extended the advantage to 49-40 at half. 
 
Laval hung around but were not able to catch the Gaiters down the stretch as Bishop's went onto the 80-72 victory, their second of the year over the Rouge et Or. Bishop's now sits at 7-5 and in third place in the RSEQ while Laval falls to 2-8.
 
 
Charles Robert (Vaudreuil, QC/Suffield Academy) scored 20 for Bishop's while Corey Nzigamasabo (Saint-Basile-le-Grand, QC/State Fair Community College) came off the bench to score 11 and round out the Gaiters in double figures.
 
The Gaiters are back in action on Thursday in Montreal when they face the Concordia Stingers at 8 p.m. in Montreal.  The two will battle again on Saturday in Lennoxville also at 6 p.m.
