QUEBEC CITY – Obinna Dike-Nwagbara (Montreal, QC, Champlain College Saint-Lambert) scored 17 points in 19 minutes as the Bishop's Gaiters topped the Laval Rouge et Or 81-78 on Friday night in Quebec City.  The win secures third place in the RSEQ for Bishop's.
 
Dike scored 17 points including four three-pointers to lead the Gaiters.  Joshua Koulamallah (Gatineau, QC/Dalhousie University) had 14 off the bench while Tiernan McDougall (Vancouver, BC/Champlain-Lennoxville) and Charles Robert (Vaudreuil, QC/Suffield Academy) each scored 13. Etienne Gagnon (Longueuil, QC/Cegep de Sherbrooke) grabbed 10 rebounds in the win.
 
The victory improves Bishop's to 8-7 while Laval falls to 5-10.  Both teams will have road games in the first round of the RSEQ playoffs on Feb. 28.
 
Bishop's will wrap-up their regular season on Wednesday, Feb. 21 when they host the UQAM Citadins at 8 p.m. in Mitchell Gym on senior's night.
