LENNOXVILLE, Que. – The conference's top-ranked Bishop's Gaiters flexed their muscles on Wednesday night in an RSEQ semifinal as they beat the Laval Rouge et Or 92-70 to punch their ticket to the RSEQ Championship. That game will take place in Mitchell Gym on Saturday, March 1 at 7 p.m.
RSEQ MVP
Charles Robert (Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC/Suffield Academy) led the way for the Gaiters with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Etienne Gagnon, the RSEQ Defensive Player of the Year also tallied a double-double with 14 points and 16 boards.
Yanis Malanda (Paris, France/Vanier College) scored 21 and
Zach John (Scarborough, ON/Central Technical School) had 14 to round out the Gaiters in double figures.
Steeve Joseph scored 37 for Laval in the losing cause.
Bishop's moves on to play the Concordia Stingers in the RSEQ Championship on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Lennoxville as they look for their first title since 2020.

LENNOXVILLE, Qué. - Les Gaiters de Bishop's, les mieux classés de la conférence, ont montré leurs muscles mercredi soir lors d'une demi-finale du RSEQ alors qu'ils ont battu le Rouge et Or de Laval 92-70 pour obtenir leur billet pour le Championnat du RSEQ. Ce match aura lieu au gymnase Mitchell le samedi 1er mars à 19 heures.
Le joueur le plus utile du RSEQ,
