Sherbrooke, QC – May 23, 2025 — Bishop's University is proud to announce that both its men's and women's golf teams will compete at the 2025 Canadian University/College Championship, hosted by Golf Canada from June 3–6 at Rivershore Golf Links in Kamloops, British Columbia.
This year marks a historic milestone for the Gaiters, as the women's team qualifies for nationals for the first time in program history. The team features a promising trio:
Avery Mack (Ottawa, ON/Immaculata High School),
Bri Allan (Hamilton, ON/Ancaster High School), and
Macy Louvet-Maik (Beaconsfield, QC/John Abbott College), who are ready to make their debut on the national stage.
The men's team returns with a mix of experience and fresh talent. Veterans
Shawn Robillard (Sherbrooke, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville),
Landen Harison (Vernon, BC/Columbia Bible College), and
Ryan Massicotte (Québec, QC/Champlain College St. Lawrence) bring valuable championship experience, while Will Cote and
Max Hay (Fredericton, NB/Leo Hayes High School) will make their first appearances at the national level. The team is aiming to improve on its best-ever finish of T-6th at the event.
"We're incredibly proud of both teams," said Head Coach Ryan Smith. "The men have been building toward this all season, and we're excited to see how our newcomers perform under pressure. On the women's side, qualifying for the first time is a huge achievement, and we're looking forward to seeing them compete with the best in the country."
The Canadian University/College Championship brings together the top collegiate golfers from across Canada, offering a platform for elite competition and national recognition.

Sherbrooke (Québec) – 23 mai 2025 — L'Université Bishop's est fière d'annoncer que ses équipes masculine et féminine de golf participeront au Championnat canadien universitaire et collégial 2025, organisé par Golf Canada du 3 au 6 juin au Rivershore Golf Links, à Kamloops, en Colombie-Britannique.
Cette année marque un moment historique pour les Gaiters, alors que l'équipe féminine se qualifie pour la première fois de son histoire pour le championnat national. L'équipe est composée de
Avery Mack (Ottawa, ON/Immaculata High School),
Bri Allan (Hamilton, ON/Ancaster High School) et
Macy Louvet-Maik (Beaconsfield, QC/John Abbott College), un trio prometteur prêt à faire ses débuts sur la scène nationale.
L'équipe masculine revient avec une combinaison d'expérience et de nouveaux talents. Les vétérans

« Nous sommes extrêmement fiers des deux équipes, » a déclaré l'entraîneur-chef Ryan Smith. « Les hommes ont travaillé fort toute la saison pour en arriver là, et nous avons hâte de voir comment nos recrues vont performer sous pression. Du côté féminin, se qualifier pour la première fois est une réalisation majeure, et nous sommes impatients de les voir rivaliser avec les meilleures au pays. »
Le Championnat canadien universitaire et collégial réunit les meilleurs golfeurs et golfeuses du niveau postsecondaire à travers le pays, offrant une plateforme de compétition de haut niveau et de reconnaissance nationale.
