SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Bishop's Gaiters men's Lacrosse team will open their 2013 CUFLA campaign on Sunday, September 8 when they visit the Carleton Ravens.  Game time is set for 3 p.m. on Raven's Road Field.
 
The Gaiters look to be road warriors early in the season and start their route back to the Bagattaway Cup.  They open the season with three straight road games before playing three at home.
 
A season ago the Gaiters beat the Ravens on both occasions they met.  The purple and silver won 14-5 in Lennoxville early in September then won 13-6 in the nation's capital in October.
 
The Gaiters return 2012 CUFLA East scoring champion and team MVP Alex Henderson (Oshawa, Ont.).  A season ago he scored 26 goals and added 20 assists in 10 games.  David Bigley (New Westminster, B.C.) returns to start between the pipes for the Gaiters.  He was the 2012 all-Canadian goalie for the east division. Ross Wills (Regina), 2012 all-Canadian east division defender also returns for the Gaiters.
