SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Bishop's University Gaiters men's and women's rugby teams will open the Thanksgiving weekend and the lacrosse team will close the holiday weekend.  The men's rugby team will face Sherbrooke on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in Sherbrooke while women's rugby team will host Concordia on Thursday at 8 p.m. and Lacrosse will face Concordia on Monday Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. in Montreal.  The Football squad is also back in action on Thursday night at McGill at 7 p.m.
 
The men's rugby team (2-1-1) will face the Sherbrooke Vert et Or (1-3-0) on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The Gaiters are currently in a second place tie in the RSEQ standings after a 23-23 draw with McGill (2-1-1) on Saturday.  Sherbrooke sits below the Gaiters in fourth place.  The Gaiters shutout the Vert et Or 22-0 at the start of this year on Coulter Field. 
 
The Lady Gaiters (0-6-0) women's rugby team will host the No. 9 Concordia Stingers on Thursday night at 8 p.m. on Coulter Field.  Bishop's lost to No. 6 Ottawa this past weekend while Concordia fell 27-25 to No. 8 Laval. 
 
The lacrosse team (6-2) will play Concordia (0-8) on Thanksgiving Monday at 9 p.m. in Montreal.  The Gaiters are coming off a successful road trip to Ontario.  They beat Trent 9-7 (2-6) on Saturday and Queen's (5-4) 11-2 on Sunday.  Concordia fell 21-0 to McGill (10-0) and 16-6 to Ottawa (2-7) this past weekend.
