SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Bishop's University Gaiters have a packed Homecoming weekend. The lacrosse team will open the festivities on Thursday night against McGill at 8:30 p.m. On Friday night there will be a triple-header featuring women's rugby at 4 p.m. against McGill, women's soccer at 6 p.m. against Laval and men's rugby against Montreal at 8 p.m.
Gaiters lacrosse (4-1) will host the McGill Redmen (6-0) on Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. Bishop's only loss this season was to McGill two weeks ago in Montreal.
To open the Homecoming Friday triple-header the women's rugby squad (0-4) will face McGill (1-3) at 4 p.m. on Coulter Field. McGill is coming off a loss to Ottawa the past weekend while Bishop's fell at Laval.
Women's soccer (0-6-0) will kick-off at 6 p.m. against No.10 Laval. Laval is coming off four straight wins heading into this weekend. The Lady Gaiters will be traveling to face Sherbrooke at 6 p.m. on Monday Sept. 29 to complete their pair of games this weekend.
Men's rugby (1-1) will cap off the night against Montreal (1-1) at 8 p.m. Bishop's had the week off after falling to Concordia. Montreal played last weekend and beat McGill (1-1). Every game is crucial as each team in the RSEQ has at least one loss and one win to date this season.
