MONTREAL – A competitive opening 20 minutes for the Bishop's Gaiters men's rugby team was all they were able to muster on Friday night in Montreal as league-leading Concordia cruised to a 48-13 victory in RSEQ University action.
Coach's Corner:
"Concordia is the real deal," said Gaiters' head coach
Charles Goode after the game. "They have depth at every position and don't make mistakes. Our guys fought hard but our poor tackling overall hurt us.
We could not capitalize on our opportunities. Six time we had the ball on their goal line and we were only able to score once."
