THIS WEEK: The Bishop's Gaiters men's rugby team closes out the regular season on Sunday afternoon as they host the Concordia Stingers at Coulter Field. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
THE RECORDS: The Gaiters come into the game with a 4-2 record, after losing 48-13 to Concordia last week. Bishop's currently has 20 points, and is locked into second place in the "2-3-6" division. The Stingers are 6-0 on the year, and have clinched first place in the "2-3-6" division.
PLAYOFFS!: The Gaiters have clinched home-field advantage in the RSEQ quarter-final, where they will face Sherbrooke, who is locked into third place in the "1-3-5" division.
LAST TIME OUT: The Stingers pulled away in the second half to score a 48-13 win over Bishop's in the first half of the season-ending home-and-home series.
Josh Bray (Lennoxville, Que./Bishop's College School) earned man of the match honours for Bishop's, as he scored a try and a penalty goal.
Paul Gehrig (Palma de Mallorca, Spain/Agora Portals) had the Gaiters' other try. Five different players scored tries for the Stingers, led by two from Charles Debove. Jonathan Banks scored 18 points on six conversions and two penalty goals for Concordia.
HE'S NOT JOSHING AROUND: Third-year scrum half
Josh Bray (Lennoxville, Que./Bishop's College School) leads the Gaiters with 43 points, on two tries, six conversions and seven penalty goals this season. He is second in the league, trailing only Concordia's Jonathan Banks, who has 67 points.
Tyler Murphy (Bromont, Que. ) is the Gaiters' leading try-scorer this season, with four tries and 22 total points on the year.
