SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Gaiters pulled out a 7-6 victory on Saturday night over Ottawa on Coulter Field. In a tightly contested match-up
Joel Wright (Newmarket, Ont./Sir William Mulock S.S.) led the Gaiters with three points, one goal and two assists.
Eric Mawdsley (Innisfil, Ont./Trinity Pawling School) added two goals.
Ottawa led the Gaiters heading into the fourth frame but an early goal in the quarter by Mawdsley gave the Gaiters the momentum they needed to close out the game 7-6.

The Gaiters finished third in the CUFLA EAST behind McGill and Trent. They will travel to Peterborough on Oct. 28 to face Trent at 6:30 p.m. in a CUFLA East playoff.
