SHERBROOKE, Que. – The Bishop's University soccer program is on the rise. That was evident on the pitch this season and it continued to grow when Gaiters' head coach
Paul Ballard earned his UEFA A Licence for coaching last month.
"It's a thrill and an honour," Ballard said after learning the news that he had passed his final tests. "It's been a long few months but I am very proud and look forward to getting back to working with the women's soccer team."
"This is exciting for our department and for the women's soccer program," said
Joey Sabo, Athletic Manager at Bishop's. "Paul has been a great addition to our Gaiter Family and is putting his footprint on this team. We look forward to seeing the team continue to grow and compete."
As all Gaiter student-athletes wrap up the exam period and prepare for the holiday season, Ballard and the women's soccer team look ahead to the winter semester of training.
