SHERBROOKE, Que – The Bishop's Gaiters men's basketball team will host the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds for back-to-back exhibition contests in Lennoxville. The first game will go at 1 p.m. on Dec. 29 at Alexander Galt Regional High School and the second game at 5 p.m. on Dec. 30 in the Mitchell Gym.
The Gaiters are 1-4 at the holiday break. They are coming off an 80-70 loss to Laval on Dec. 1. Bishop's was led by
Abdul Kamane (Montreal, Que./Vanier College), who had 16 points and seven rebounds.
David Belanger (Sherbrooke, Que./Champlain-St. Lambert) had 15 points and Alexandre Boisse scored 10 points.
UNB (7-1) suffered their first loss of the regular season 105-92 to Memorial. Fifth year guard, Javon Masters currently leads the AUS and U SPORTS with 26.0 points per game.
