THIS WEEK: The Bishop's Gaiters women's rugby team (0-1) opens the home portion of its 2017 schedule on Sunday afternoon as they host their crosstown rivals from Sherbrooke (0-1) on Coulter Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
THE RECORDS: Both teams come into the local derby with 0-1 records, after having dropped their season-opening games last week. The Gaiters fell 50-10 to the Carleton Ravens in Ottawa last Saturday, while the Vert & Or suffered a 36-15 loss to Montreal on Labour Day.

LAST TIME OUT: The Gaiters dropped a 50-10 decision to the Carleton Ravens on Sept. 2 in Ottawa. For the Gaiters,
Katie Quinn (Rigaud, Que./John Abbott College) scored a try, while
Emily Norris (Stanstead, Que./Stanstead College) added a conversion and a penalty goal.
WHEN LAST WE MET: The Gaiters dropped a 48-10 decision to Sherbrooke on Oct. 6, 2016 at the U de S artificial field. Kyra Grate and
Sheila Couture (St-Georges-de-Beauce, Que./Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup) scored tries for Bishop's in that contest.
