Last tests of 2018 for the Gaiters: at Laval, host McGill

LENNOXVILLE, Que. – At 3-1, the Bishop's Gaiters look to wrap up the first semester in style but will have a pair of tough tests to get there.  On Thursday, they are in Quebec City to face Laval at 8 p.m. and on Saturday the McGill Redmen are in Mitchell Gym for an 8 p.m. tip-off in RSEQ Men's University Basketball.

"Laval is 0-4 but much better than their record," said Gaiters' head coach Rod Gilpin. "That is where our focus is. We aren't even thinking about McGill, our focus is on Thursday night.

"Both teams have a good feel for the other team's best players.  There are not a ton of surprises, everyone adds a wrinkle each week but it comes down to can you guard your man, can you rebound, and can you win individual battles?"

Thursday, Nov. 29 at Laval, 8 p.m.
