Quebec City –
Kevin Davis (Baltimore, MD/Digital Harbor H.S.) and
Nervens Demosthene (Terrebonne, Que./Cegep de Montmorency) led the Gaiters with 16 points each, but it was not enough to hold off the Laval Rouge et Or as they took the contest 81-69 on Thursday night in Quebec City.
Q1: Laval 20-17 Bishop's
The first stanza was very tight, neither Bishop's or Laval were able to pick up any momentum.
Q2: Laval 39-29 Bishop's
Laval picked up the pace early in the quarter and kept it going until halftime, despite some push back from the Gaiters, Laval led the whole quarter.
Q3: Laval 59-48 Bishop's
Laval continued to keep their momentum from first half rolling but the Gaiters continued to fight and did not let the Rouge et Or run away with the game.
Q4: Laval 81-69 Bishop's
Laval matched every run the Gaiters tried to make to get back in the game, the closest the Gaiters got was within nine points. The Rouge et Or won 81-69.

The Gaiters will host the McGill Redmen on Saturday night in Mitchell Gym, to close out the Gaiters' men's basketball action of 2018. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m.
