MONTREAL - Rookie, Jael Kabunda (Montreal, Que./) scored 32 points and led the Gaiters in their 79-53 win over the Concordia Stingers in Bishop's RSEQ season opener on Thursday night.
 
The Gaiters had a slow start but seized the momentum from the Stingers to close out the first frame up 22-10.  The second quarter was all Bishop's as they extended their lead to 22 at the half. 

At the half, @BishopsGaiters lead @The_Stingers 44-21. The Gaiters just dominating on both ends of the floor. A really impressive last 10 minutes. Showing why they belong in the @USPORTSca Top-10! Have to keep it for 20 minutes though, still plenty of game left #GaiterNation

Bishop's continued to dominate though the second half and opened their RSEQ season with a tick in the win column.
