LENNOXVILLE, Que – With one game remaining in the RSEQ University men's basketball schedule, the Bishop's Gaiters sit at 2-2 and in the middle of the pack. Their last contest before the December break comes in Montreal, at McGill on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Bishop's Beat
The Gaiters scored a season-high 95 points in their last game at Laval, a 95-84 victory. They were led by
Nervens Demosthene's (Terrebonne, Que./Cegep de Montmorency) "triple-double". Fifth-year veteran
Abdul Kamane (Montreal, Que./Vanier College) leads Bishop's in scoring at 16 points per game, that's good for fifth in the conference. Demosthenes is 11
th in the RSEQ at 13.5 points per game.
Kamane is also second in the RSEQ with 7.5 rebounds per game while Demosthene tops the assists charts with 7.0 per contest.
McGill
McGill (3-1) is led by Jamal Mayali who leads the RSEQ in scoring with 19.8 points per game. Sam Jenkins is third at 18 per game.
McGill is on a two-game winning streak including a victory over Bishop's. They play at Laval (0-4) on Thursday night before hosting Bishop's on Saturday.
Last time out
McGill outscored Bishop's 25-13 in the fourth quarter on Nov. 21 to upset the then No.7 Gaiters in their home gym by a final of 81-74.
Mayali scored 31 to lead all scorers. Demosthene and
Ibrahim Ngom (Montreal, Que./Vanier College) each scored 15 points in the loss for Bishop's.
McGill has now won four in a row against Bishop's, dating back to Nov. 15, 2018 and eight of the last 10.
