LENNOXVILLE, Que – The Atlantic University Sport (AUS) conference along with the St. Mary's Huskies and Bishop's Gaiters announced on Thursday that the football game originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 7 at 3 p.m. local time has been pushed up to Friday, Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. local (6 p.m. Eastern) at Huskies Stadium. The decision was made with the impending arrival of Hurricane Dorian to the Maritime Provinces.
The Decision
The two institutions and the conference office looked at a number of contingencies before making the decision. Bishop's airline partner Nolinar was also involved in the discussions.
The Game
On the field, the Gaiters (1-1) and Huskies (1-0) will battle for the first time this season.
Bishop's is coming off their first win in nearly two years. It was a 32-19 victory over the then No.7 StFX X-Men (1-1) in Lennoxville on Saturday night.

Also on Saturday, the Huskies hung on to beat the Mount Allison Mounties 27-25 in Sackville, N.B. SMU had a bye the first week of the season.
