LENNOXVILLE, Que. – At the midway point of their inaugural season the Bishop's Gaiters cheer team shifts their focus to the final two events. First up is the RSEQ Mauricie competition in Trois-Rivieres, Que. It is slated for Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Complex Sportif Alphonse-Desjardins.
"I am feeling confident heading into this week's event," said Gaiters' head coach
Leanka Germain. "The team has been having great practices working hard on consistency. Our goal for this Saturday is to hit our routine with new stronger elements we incorporated in the routine. I want the team to feel confident on the mat."
Bishop's is currently in sixth place in the RSEQ co-ed division.
RSEQ Standings
The point values at this event are the same as the last one, with a higher total slated for the RSEQ Championship in March.
Next Up
Once the Gaiters wrap up their penultimate competition of the year this weekend, they are back on the mats for the RSEQ Championship set to take place in the third weekend of March.
