LENNOXVILLE, Que. – Amaiquen Siciliano (Buenos Aires, Argentina/Velez Sarsfield) scored a game-high 38 points and Victoria Gauna (Mendoza, Argentina) added 30 as the No. 2 Bishop's Gaiters rolled past the Concordia Stingers 99-64 on Thursday night in Mitchell Gym. 
 
The win keeps the Gaiters record unblemished at 5-0 while Concordia falls to 1-4.
 
How it Happened…
…a back and forth first quarter saw Bishop's grab a 23-22 lead as both teams struggled defensively
…Bishop's turned it on in the second stanza out-scoring the visitors 25-12 for a 48-34 halftime lead
…the Gaiters used another big third quarter (25-16) to all but put away the Stingers
…In the fourth it was more of the same as Bishop's outscored the Stingers 26-14 for the 99-64 win
 
For Bishop's…
…Siciliano tied her RSEQ career high with 38 points on 14-22 shooting including 3-4 form long range. She added 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals
…Gauna recorded her RSEQ career high with 30 points on 12-16 shooting including a sizzling 6-8 from three-point range. She added 8 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist
…Jennifer Louis (Montreal, Que./Cegep Edouard-Montpetit) rounded out the Gaiters in double figures with 14 points
…Katerina Stoupas (Montreal, Que./Dawson College) grabbed 10 rebounds
 


For Concorida…
…Four starters were in double figures led by Areej Burgonio who scored 17 points on 4-20 shooting. Serena Tchida tallied 16, Rowena Blais and Gretta Ineza added 14

…The Gaiters (5-0) will enjoy an extended break as they next play on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. in Montreal at McGill (0-4)
…Concordia (1-4) next plays at home against UQAM (3-1) on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m.
