The U SPORTS East-West Bowl is back for the first time since 2019.
McMaster's Ron Joyce Stadium in Hamilton, Ont. will serve as host to 90 of the top Canadian university football players eligible for the 2023 CFL Draft. Two student-athletes from the Bishop's Gaiters Football Team have been selected to be a part of this year's game, which will return for the first time in three years due to the COVID -19 pandemic.
Jake Kelly (Markham, ON/Bill Crothers S.S.) and
Nathan Lupien (Saint-Jerome, QC/Cegep Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu) will represent Bishop's University and will showcase their skills to coaches, general managers and personnel from the Canadian Football League.
The 2022 U SPORTS East-West Bowl is set for Saturday May 7th at 12PM which will mark the 18th edition of the top prospect showcase. This year's game will cap off a week of football development events and clinics which will begin with the 2022 CFL Draft on May 3rd.
