The third-ranked Concordia Stingers were in town on Sunday afternoon for the last matchup between the two teams this season. The start of this one looked like it was headed in the wrong direction – and fast – before the Gaiters found the equalizer and tied the game at one goal apiece just before the first intermission. Bishop's played a fantastic second period, keeping everything in front of them. They were rewarded with a great finish on a 2-on-1, giving them a 2-1 advantage going into the third. The Gaiters steadied the ship in the third, but two unfortunate bounces for the Gaiters turned the game around. The Stingers capitalized on both and hung on for a 3-2 win. The Gaiters play three of their last four at home.

… Neleh Vigneau Sargeant (Dartmouth, N.S./Lockview H.S.) continued her hot streak, scoring again in this one 
… Jamie Aspropotamitis (Richmond, Ont./Sacred Heart H.S.) had the game-tying goal at the end of the first period 
… The Gaiters had 6 players register a point in the game 

Next Up 
The Gaiters will play host to the McGill Martlets next Friday, Feb. 10th. Puck drop is set for 8pm from Jane & Eric Molson Arena.
