GATINEAU, Que. – The Bishop's Gaiters men's and women's golf teams are set to tee off in Gatineau on Monday for the three-day RSEQ Championship at Club de Golf Gatineau.
 
Women
The women's team currently sits in second place as they eye a spot at Nationals (top two teams after the RSEQ Championships qualify). Their team will consist of Avery Mack (Ottawa, ON/Immaculata High School), Bri Allan (Hamilton, ON/Ancaster High School) and Macy Louvet-Maik (Beaconsfield, QC/John Abbott College).  Ashley Lebel (Montréal, QC/Dawson College) will miss the event due to an injury.
 
Men
The Gaiters' men's squad is in third place and have their spot for another national's berth all but locked up. They will look to make up ground in hope of an RSEQ Championship repeat. Their team for the event will consist of Michael Brazel (Ayer's Cliff, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville), Ryan Massicotte (Québec, QC/Champlain College St. Lawrence), Shawn Robillard (Sherbrooke, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville), Landen Harison (Vernon, BC/Columbia Bible College) and Scott Loach (Lennoxville, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville) while Will Cote, Felix Wilson (Ottawa, ON/Immaculata High School) and Max Hay (Fredericton, NB/Leo Hayes High School) compete as individuals.
 
The three-day event will feature 9 a.m. shotguns with awards being handed out on Wednesday afternoon.

GATINEAU, Qué. - Les équipes masculine et féminine de golf des Gaiters de Bishop's s'apprêtent à prendre le départ à Gatineau, lundi, pour le Championnat du RSEQ qui se déroulera pendant trois jours au Club de golf de Gatineau.
 
Femmes
L'équipe féminine occupe actuellement le deuxième rang et vise une place au championnat national (les deux meilleures équipes après le championnat du RSEQ se qualifient). L'équipe sera composée d'Avery Mack (Ottawa, ON/Immaculata High School), Bri Allan (Hamilton, ON/Ancaster High School) et Macy Louvet-Maik (Beaconsfield, QC/John Abbott College).  Ashley Lebel (Montréal, QC/Dawson College) manquera l'événement en raison d'une blessure.
 
Hommes
L'équipe masculine des Gaiters est en troisième place et les quatre premiers se sont qualifiés pour les championnats nationaux. Ils chercheront à gagner du terrain dans l'espoir de répéter le championnat du RSEQ. Leur équipe sera composée de Michael Brazel (Ayer's Cliff, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville), Ryan Massicotte (Québec, QC/Champlain College St. Lawrence), Shawn Robillard (Sherbrooke, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville), Landen Harison (Vernon, BC/Columbia Bible College) et Scott Loach (Lennoxville, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville), tandis que Will Cote, Felix Wilson (Ottawa, ON/Immaculata High School) et Max Hay (Fredericton, NB/Leo Hayes High School) participeront à la compétition en tant qu'athlètes individuels.
 
L'événement de trois jours se déroulera en shotguns à 9 heures et les prix seront remis mercredi après-midi.
