LENNOXVILLE, Que. - The Bishop's Gaiters women's hockey team hosted Team Italy in an Olympic tune-up game on Sunday, Jan. 11 in the Jane and Eric Molson Arena.
Italy, who is holding a training camp in Montreal prior to the Olympic Games, played a series of games against Canadian opponents, including on Sunday in Lennoxville. The Italians ultimately won 4-1 with an empty-net goal at the end, but the crowd of approximately 400 spectators were entertained.
Gabrielle Santerre (Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville) scored for Bishop's.

LENNOXVILLE, Québec – L'équipe de hockey féminin des Gaiters de Bishop's a accueilli l'équipe d'Italie pour un match préparatoire aux Jeux olympiques le dimanche 11 janvier à l'aréna Jane et Eric Molson.
L'Italie, qui tient un camp d'entraînement à Montréal avant les Jeux olympiques, a disputé une série de matchs contre des adversaires canadiens, dont celui de dimanche à Lennoxville. Les Italiennes ont finalement remporté la rencontre 4-1 grâce à un but dans un filet désert en fin de match, mais la foule d'environ 400 spectateurs a été bien divertie. Gabrielle Santerre (Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC/Champlain College Lennoxville) a marqué pour Bishop's.
