About the Gaiters: Ryan Hector (Brampton, Ont.) is having an all-Canadian type season and sits tied for first with four interceptions in the CIS. He has 12 tackles, five kick returns for 133 yards and 15 punt returns for 152 yards through four games.
Rookie quarterback,
Mathieu Demers (Quebec City) has had two solid starts. He completed 14 of 25 passes for 120 yards in his debut against Laval and he went 13-28 for 146 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions against Saint Mary's.
This homecoming marks the return of former Gaiters kicker Mathieu Paquette to Lennoxville. He won't be in purple and silver but in McGill red, as he is the kicking coach for the Redmen. His father, Daniel Paquette is on the bench as the Gaiters' kicking coach.
