About the Gaiters:
Mathieu Demers, freshman quarterback from Quebec City, had a solid debut against No.2 Laval going 14-25 for 120 yards. 
 
Demers' favourite receiver on the day was fifth year senior Nyjill Wilson (Ottawa).  He caught eight passes for 81 yards. 
 
Jamall Hyman-Hamilton (Toronto) followed up his record-setting performance against Concordia with another solid outing against Laval.  He ran for 80 yards on 11 carries including a long of 19 and added a four-yard reception to his stat line.
