THE MATCHUP: The Bishop's Gaiters close out the RSEQ season on Saturday, as they face the Concordia Stingers. Kickoff at Coulter Field is set for 1 p.m.
THE RECORDS: The Gaiters are 1-6 on the year after their loss at Laval on Sunday. The Stingers are 3-4, after losing 21-8 to McGill last year. They are currently tied with Sherbrooke for the final playoff spot and need a win to get into the playoffs.

SENIOR MOMENT: Saturday's game will be the final time on Coulter Field for the Gaiters' graduating seniors. They will be honoured in a pre-game ceremony.
LAST TIME OUT: A pair of third-quarter touchdowns broke the game open as the Gaiters fell 44-0 to the No. 1-ranked Laval Rouge et Or in Quebec City. Laval led 17-0 at halftime, but put the game away with the scores early in the third quarter. Hugo Richard threw for three touchdowns and ran for another for the hosts. For the Gaiters,
Guillaume Trottier led with 9.0 tackles, while
Jean Gayrard returned from several weeks out of the lineup and made 8.0 tackles (4 solo, 8 assisted).
THE SERIES: The Gaiters lead the all-time series 37-34-2. The first meeting between the teams came on Oct. 4, 1975, when the Gaiters upset the highly-favoured Concordians 17-11 in Lennoxville. The Stingers swept both matchups last season, and have won four of the six games between the teams.
WHEN LAST WE MET: Despite a 300-yard game from
Jaeden Marwick, and a record-tying four field goals from Vincent Dubé, the Gaiters fell 50-34 to Concordia in the 30
th annual Shrine Bowl in Montreal on Oct. 1. Marwick threw a pair of touchdowns, to
Jerome Valbon and
Trey Millings and ran in for another score in the third quarter. Dube went 4-for-4 in field goal attempts. The Gaiters had a 16-15 halftime lead, but gave up 26 third-quarter points as the Stingers broke the game open in the second half.
PIVOT POINTS: With 300-yard performances against McGill and Concordia, rookie quarterback
Jaeden Marwick became the first Gaiter quarterback to post consecutive 300-yard games since Jordan Heather had five 300-yard games in 2013. The Regina native, and 2015 Prairie Football Conference MVP, has 950 passing yards, including five touchdowns in 2016.
