Robbie’s career at Bishop’s was distinguished by his selection to the all-conference team three times and capped off by being named to the CIAU All-Canadian team in 1972.

Rob was the Gaiters’ Most Valuable Player in 1972 and was a first round draft choice of the British Columbia Lions in 1973.

His contribution to Bishop’s has continued to be outstanding. Rob has been president of the Football Alumni Association where he has helped in the recruitment of numerous student-athletes to Bishop’s.

In 1985 he was honoured as the Alumnus of the Year in recognition of his efforts in behalf of the Alumni Association. As well Rob was the recipient of the prestigious Ray Almond Award in 1989, given annually for the most unselfish contribution to Bishop’s Athletics.

Rob resides in London, Ontario with his wife Pat and two children, Laura and Sandra.
