Erin Patrick is one of the best female soccer players ever to play at Bishop’s.  She was a two-time CIS 2nd-team all-Canadian and a four-time FQSE all-star. At Bishop’s she was Female Athlete of the Year twice and the Female Newcomer of the Year in 1999.  She was also a three-time women’s soccer team MVP.
 
While in Lennoxville Patrick helped guide the women’s soccer team into the post-season all four years she played. The Gaiters posted a 30-15-5 conference record during that time.
 
Patrick also played field hockey during her first two years at Bishop’s before the program was cancelled. She was Rookie of the Year in 1999.
 
After graduating with her Bachelor of Arts, Patrick moved back to Calgary and worked for Big Rock Brewery, the Calgary Flames, and Canadian Pacific Railway for several years. In 2004, Erin married former Bishop's quarterback Matt Sanderson. Together are raising their three children, Ashley, Drew, and Olivia as well as two golden retriever dogs. 
 
Over the past 15 years, they have lived in Calgary, Winnipeg, Oklahoma City and are currently living in Halifax.
